Chicken and Chorizo pasta bake!

I love pasta I could live off pasta for the rest of my life, if I'm completely honest! This pasta bake was good it certainly made my mouth water.  Also makes a fantastic comfort food! The tomato undertones of the passata used for the sauce and the notes of chorizo flavouring all through this bake; makes it all a very deep flavoured meal without much effort. The recipe used to make this bake calls for a lot of meat,  4 chicken breasts and a whole chorizo sausage.  Now that seems like a lot in the pan. However the quantities are just right good old American recipes for you.  The pasta to meat ratio is spot on. Although we used 5 chicken breasts and half a chorizo not to drown the bake in chorizo flavouring.  But all was so spot on with this bake. The blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top making a stringy golden crust of goodness. The meat to pasta ratio and the tomato undertones throughout make this a cracking dish that I would highly recommend. Turkey Dinosaurs and Smiley faces

Turkey dinosaurs and smiley faces a blast from the past or your present. But a brilliant lazy meal. The crispy dinosaurs all perfectly shaped the T-Rex ready to eat the Stegosaurus and the other dinosaur shape who's name I am lost on. They all taste so good there breaded skin cooked to a golden glow, like they've been on a good sunbed for ten minutes. Turkey isn't just for Christmas and this brings it into our food in a quirky and easy to cook way. And the smiley faces the amazing little golden circles of fluffy potato dipped in the blood of the dinosaurs (tomato sauce) makes such a good paring. Because who doesn't love potato. Potatoes they are so versatile and go with almost anything. Smileys have got to be a winner because of there potato goodness and happy shape. Smiles all round for this.
